Damn So You Can See My Shoulder/Midriff/Leg, So SorryNotSorry You Are Too Dumb To Pass Your Exams!!!

I am pretty sure that if you are reading this that at some point in your internet or newspaper reading life you have seen some incredible stories coming out about girls being told to "cover up in class, you're putting the boys off their studies".

OH REALLY!!!!????!!!!

Seriously !?!

I mean COME ON !!!!

Of course this apparently only happens in schools which don't wear uniforms ...

*Excuse me while I go clean up the laptop I just spit my coffee over the keyboard* ...

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh dear !!! I can't breathe !!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Ok so have you actually seen the clothes they are complaining about ? We are talking tank/strappy tops and a bare midriff oh and for goodness sakes don't forget you can't possibly show any leg !!!

Now I understand that sure there are ways to dress and ways you should reconsider when going out or attending school out of respect for whom you are with, where you are, and all that jazz. Frankly have you seen the boys ???

When this fad started I was in my late teens and honestly, ever guy laughed at them. Not only that but every girl laughed at them. It wasn't a "thing" it was nasty and seriously we'd help your pants down the rest of the way.

I was out in the city a few months back and I actually got to witness something that all the bleach in the world hasn't managed to remove the sight from my eyes, A "father" was walking his baby in the pram and the mother through town and his pants actually fell all the way down, taking his boxers with them !!! For e it was like the worst car crash on the M5 !!! I didn't want to look but my eyes couldn't help it, I ended up walking into a streetlight and apologizing to it !!! The baby started crying, the mother started screaming, the guy was tripping all over the place and his bright green, budgie smugglers thankfully covered what was left of his dignity and stopped the rest of us from throwing up while he fumbled to get his pants back on... well half on he unfortunately did NOT learn from this adventure.

I mean seriously !!! How is this kind of "fashion" any less disturbing than a girl wearing this dress ....

Personally I think this dress is rather beautiful. I'm pretty sure its a halter top and she is wearing a a proper strapped bra under it. Its a really pretty dress and covers up all the bits it needs too. Those guys pants don't !!! Yet this young woman was sent home to change due to a violation of dress code !!!

Lucky this young lady had a strong female figure in her life and was able to stand up to the school as did her mother. Many of our girls don't, and many of us have been pushed or raised to, "don't rock the boat", "just do as they say, you don't want to get in trouble". Wanna bet !!! Bloody right I would want to get into trouble if it meant standing up for my rights as a human being to wear what I wish to wear. Oh and if you think your kids going to school in a uniform makes it all better you are sooo wrong. Most skirts I see are so shortened they can't bend over without showing everything underneath!!!

I never dressed this way I have to say, mostly because I was a jeans and baggy jumpers girl or a "uniform that was measured in length by my mother" girl. There was one time my skirt raised but that was when I rolled the waistband once i was on the bus, bad move those I've always had weird knees and I felt so uncomfortable I pulled it back down really quick, never to relive that moment until leggings were invented and i could wear them under my dress, which I have a tendency to do under long skirts too. It's a me thing, we all have what makes us comfortable and we shouldn't be held accountable for other people's behaviour because they aren't being held accountable for it.

Boys Will Be Boys is one of the most dangerous things we have drummed into our kids for decades. It gives them an out, a way to not be responsible for their behaviour due to gender. Since when was that ok !?! Since when in our "enlightened society" is it ok for our boys to behave in an unpredictable and abusive way and get away with it. When did males become more important than females. I mean seriously, without us there would be no them... not even science has figured a way around that little dilemma, although they have found a way for 2 women to conceive without a male so who should really be looked after here!!!

The point is this at the end of the day, if a short skirt or halter top doesn't upset a lesbian and stop her from concentrating on her studies, how come it does some boys??? Yeah see what I did there .. I said SOME ...  Not all boys are like this. In fact many have far more respect for women than their older counterparts. In fact I would go so far as to say they are the men here, not the cocky dickhead who feels it is his god given right because he was born with a penis to behave like a fecking ape !!!

I am offended for my sons when I read this kind of rubbish. They were brought up, not dragged up or left to run wild, and were taught to respect our differences, not to expect it to be their right to touch another human being without their say so. To treat all people with dignity and respect.

One day that could be your child and just what would you do???

I'm going to leave you with this perfect come back ...

Thankyou for your bravery Chloe xox
